3 killed, 6 injured as two groups clashed over Gurdwara control

MUKTSAR: Clash over the control of the village Gurdwara of Mallan today turned bloody as three persons were killed and six others injured during the exchange of fire between two groups.

As per information the groups had clashed on Tuesday night as well. “Around 30 rounds were fired, some of them in the air, on Wednesday and three people were killed in the firing,” reported The Tribune.

Source said that outsiders were also involved in the firing and there were reports of 150 armed outsiders coming to the village on Wednesday.

A police party headed by Muktsar SSP Gurpreet Singh Gill recahed the spot and started investigation. The injured were taken to the civil hospitalized.
